Appointments

blue_calendarThe doctors consult Monday to Friday in the morning from 8.30 until 11.50 and in the afternoon from 3.30pm until 6.00pm. All appointments are for one person only - a separate one should be booked for each person attending.

If you have more than one health issue to discuss, please talk to the receptionist about booking a double appointment.

The nurses are available Monday to Friday from 9am until 12 and 3.30 until 5.30pm.

Making an Appointment

To make an appointment, please telephone the receptionist on 0844 477 2547.

Appointments are of 10 or 15 minutes duration and so we may not always be able to deal with all your problems in one appointment. If you feel you need more time with the GP, please ask for a double appoinment. Every effort will be made to see you promptly and we do ask you to inform us if you cannot attend for an appointment so that it can be offered to someone else.

We have a telephone triage system operating between 8.00 and 8.30am, where you can speak to the Duty Doctor who will then give you an appointment if you need to be seen. At other times, if you require an urgent appointment, you may be asked by the receptionist for further details about why your consultation needs to be urgent.

Appointment options

Routine    A 15 minute appointment with patient's usual doctor
On the Day A 10 minute appointment with the duty doctor or, if possible with the patient's usual doctor
Telephone    A 5 minute booked telephone consultation. Normally with patient's usual doctor but may be duty doctor if required the same day.
