When We Are Closed
The surgery does not provide medical services out of hours, and is only open on alternate Saturday mornings.
Services outside surgery opening hours are the responsibility of the Hampshire Primary Care Trust.
When the surgery is closed, an answer machine message giving the option to be put through to the Solent Out of Hours Service is available by phoning the usual surgery number - 0844 477 2547 or you can call the Solent Out of Hours Service direct on 0300 300 2012.
NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery
re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
